Shining a light on women's power before, during, & after birth

Hi, I’m Liza!

Congratulations on your Journey into Motherhood.

As a mother, doula, student , and bodyworker, I provide comprehensive support to mothers from pre-natal stages to early motherhood. My services include doula support, community building, tea ceremonies, and craniosacral bodywork. From a young age, I have felt the powerful connection to Mother Earth, especially as she communicated with me through the majestic Mount Konocti, a mountain resembling a pregnant woman visible from my mother's home in Northern California. I am here to stand as a steadfast mountain of support for you and your family as you journey through the profound transformations of motherhood.

What it’s like to work with me.

Working with me means tapping into the belief in the inherent strength of women to birth their babies with power, peace, and love. Testimonials

  • Words won’t do justice to what Liza means to our family. During a difficult hospital labor, Liza supported me through contractions, provided rest for my husband, and nurtured the most beautiful birth I could’ve imagined for my daughter. Her energy is contagious, her wisdom is unmatched, and she exudes love. She knows exactly what women need not only during labor and delivery, but in the immediate postpartum as well, and meets them there. I cannot imagine welcoming our child, or any future children, into this world without Liza by my side.

  • Liza was everything I could have asked for in a doula and more. Anytime I had a question or needed support in any way throughout my pregnancy, she was right there with a helpful response, useful resources, and options for relief. She is always professional while also gentle and compassionate. She has a vast knowledge of the female body, especially when it comes to pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. Liza truly has a gift for nurturing the body, mind and spirit. When it came to the day(s) of my labor and delivery, she was the absolute perfect form of support for both myself and my husband. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so glad Liza was our doula.

  • As a first-time father-to-be, I couldn’t have asked for a better doula than Liza. She was both an additional caretaker of my wife Leslie as well as a hand to hold for either of us when things got tough going through 30+ hours of labor. She was with us for everything and I couldn’t be more grateful for her knowledge, care, support, fun personality, and overall good-heartedness that she brought to our family.

  • Right after giving birth to my second child, Liza came over several times to graciously provide cranial sacral therapy. At the time, I was overwhelmed with postpartum anxiety and depression. The first session with Liza felt like pure magic. It gave me so much hope that I could, and would, feel better and overcome my PPD. She was able to perform these therapy sessions while I held my baby and while my 4-year-old was present and watching! Liza is amazing with little kids, which was incredibly helpful. These therapy sessions relaxed me in a way that nothing else could during that postpartum period. I felt an immediate sense of peace and support, along with a significant decrease in anxiety after the sessions. I credit Liza’s cranial sacral therapy for playing a key role in helping me move through PPD and postpartum anxiety. Liza is one of the most loving, supportive, and talented healers I know. I’m so grateful for her and her incredible ability to help and heal.

  • Words can’t fully express how lucky I feel to have met Liza as I began my motherhood journey. I was introduced to Liza in 2020 when I was pregnant with my son. What started as prenatal yoga quickly became so much more—a safe, welcoming community she created for all moms to be supported, heard, and embraced. Thursdays with Liza became a cherished part of our week, a space where we could simply be ourselves, free of judgment. Liza has guided many of us through the challenges of postpartum, motherhood, and, in my case, pregnancy loss. During my darkest days, her physical healing helped me move past trauma. When I became pregnant with my daughter in 2023, there was no question who I wanted by my side. Liza’s presence at the birth of our daughter helped us create a peaceful, beautiful experience. To know her is to love her. I am beyond grateful to be part of the incredible village she has built.

  • I met Liza nearly six years ago when I was newly pregnant. From my first prenatal yoga class, I was drawn to her magical, sparkling energy, a real-life Fairy Godmother. Our friendship has blossomed over the years, and she has modeled the kind of mother, wife, friend, and person I strive to be. Through all phases of motherhood, both beautiful and challenging, Liza has been a steady voice of reassurance, wise beyond her years. Liza has truly found her calling with mothers and babies. Babies calm in her arms, and mothers find peace and release in her presence. I’m deeply grateful to call her a friend and to witness the powerful work she does in our community.
