Hi, I’m Liza!
Doula | Student of Tea | Bodyworker
For over 20 years, I have been a dedicated massage therapist, craniosacral therapist, and doula, walking alongside mothers like you through some of life's most beautiful and vulnerable moments.
To me, the most sacred aspect of this journey is witnessing the profound transformation from maiden to mother, and from partners to parents united by the embodiment of their love - their precious baby.

Tea has evolved into my mentor, my closest companion whom I encounter in moments of quietude, my daily practice, and my bridge to a remarkable community.
In 2019, my life was deeply touched by the power of tea

My story traces back to Mount Konocti, the mountain that stood guard over me in my childhood, and who continues to guide me in adulthood, serving as a constant reminder of the enduring mystery that envelops us…
Resembling a pregnant woman, Mount Konocti has been my guiding force throughout my career as a body and birth worker. It is from this inspiration that Mother Mountain was conceived.
Mother Mountain:
A Manifesto
I am you.
Erupted, eroded, empowered by the process of becoming a mother.
I am here to bear witness, hold space, reflect back to you the ancient seed of feminine power that resides deep within your womb.
To remind you of the part that will never leave you, can never leave you. I am here every step of the way. In preparation for birth and beyond.
Like the sun rises and sets upon the pregnant mountain I woke up to every morning as a child, the mountain that still stands in her majesty today, I will shine the brightest light during the most cavernous moments.
Special thanks to Conscious Creative for website design, Marielena Verdugo for photography, Jo Situ Allen for illustrations, and Gianna Wurzl for helping birth Mother Mountain.
